WESO PHILOSOPHY

Bacteria reproduce, ants advance by the millions, birds wake up dedicating a song to the dawn, trees sway from one side to the other, the moon rises, the sun sets, the universe, the constant movement of the universe, rotation, translation, life, death.

All this happens over and over again, every day, nature produces repetitions all the time.

We understand evolution as the repetition of a process but always adding an improvement to the system over time. Break patterns within the routine. But to achieve this, you have to find the routine, know it, and then you can play.

Inspired by our own bones and animal bone structures, WESO’s projects echo biomimicry found in nature.

Naturally assembled like any kind of body, Weso pursues to build purposeful structures for long term living, experimental properties, lighting interventions, landscaping for hybrid environments and community-oriented projects.

Weso’s global team is comprised of architects, industrial engineers, product designers and overall brand specialists around the world. Currently based out of Baja California Sur, Mexico, the studio team craft delicate, desirable yet down-to-earth designed.

Deriving from the original Spanish word ‘Hueso’ literally meaning bone, Weso adopts a carefully curated, contemporary approach to design in today’s increasingly creative world. By literally breathing new life into everyday design, Weso aspires to revive misplaced ideas, boxed away dreams and historic hesitations so that archived architectural plans can very much be realized and meaningfully manifested.
